Streets of G.J.

Like many other places Grand Junction (and surrounding cities) number a good portion of their roads, but I think as the city grew and developed they had to throw in some fractions so as not to confuse people by transitioning from 17 Road to Jefferson Street and back to 18 Road. Perfectly acceptable practice...and a little unique in my experience.
...but then they get a little strange when they start giving the lettered roads fractions...
...and finally we get to complete insanity when we alternate lettered, fractioned roads with lettered, decimal roads. What is wrong with having a K 2/3 Road?

Just another charming part of this community that I love.
